From: InterGovWorld.com Why Parliament needs a Second Life Quote from the site - Last October, the popular television series, CSI NY, broke new ground, virtually, by embracing the increasingly popular online universe, Second Life. In many ways the episode was a success, as it was both entertaining and intriguing to watch television characters create new versions of themselves - called Avatars - in a plot that weaved back and forth between realities.

From: Forrester Lags And Crashes Plague Forrester Second Life Experiment Quote from the site - Yesterday a small group of Forrester analysts and research associates held a team meeting in Second Life to try to figure out whether meeting this way is a viable alternative to the usual teleconference. Teleconferences are terrible. While we’re talking and listening, there’s not much to look at but our computer screens (which are constantly blinking at us with new emails and IMs and reminders of all the tasks we haven’t completed yet) so inevitably we end up multi-tasking.

From: The Winged Girl Blog Show off gorgeous men, please! Quote from the site -
I won’t be the first (or the last) person to say that male avatars in Second Life have a much harder time getting gorgeous than female avatars. I thought of some reasons for this, which I’ll mention in a moment, and maybe you know of some others, but here’s the question I’m really interested in at the moment: how gorgeous can male avis get in Second Life, and who are some really gorgeous examples?
Other than mine?
From: La Musicienne Leather and Lace Quote from the site - I anticipated that show since we first decided it with Lady Edwina. 3 hours of all aspects of metal, from old school to folk to atmo to who knows what. It was a bumpy road both getting to our final day, as well as while on it and starting up.
From: Second Style Fashionista Vive Le Zoo! Quote from the site - It sort of feels like this day has taken forever - the better part of a year at least. Le Zoo is a commercial oriented shopping sim, but with a twist. It’s a thematic place to wander around with plenty of great places to take photos.
From: news.com Report: Hackers say they can steal ‘Second Life’ currency Quote from the site - Over on Dean Takahashi’s San Jose Mercury News blog today, he reported on the discovery by a pair of security researchers that it may be possible to steal Second Life users’ in-world currency.
That would be a big problem, of course, because the currency, known as Linden dollars, are directly convertible to U.S. dollars.
