Day Trip To Ponderama

We have undertaken the long and arduous annual pilgrimage to see Burning Life. To my dismay, the Sherpas began to buckle under the insignificant weight of my essentials and required almost daily rest stops. A lucky pick for just such a break, Ponderama proved to be a small oasis of fun in the entertainment desert.

The lure of a bouncy castle was too much for the likes of me to resist…. True to form, I dressed in my Sunday best and dragged my loyal (and multiplying) Sherpa crew to visit the Ponderama Flea Market.

To no avail, I tried my hardest to deflate the bright, buoyant monstrosity with heels that could punch a hole through the skull of a charging bull. I did, however, manage to bounce over the top of the castle and land face-first on the sidewalk…..

After choosing not to file a lawsuit, I jumped back into the springy paradise and elbowed my companions as we jostled each other for space. Growing tired of bruising ourselves, we wandered around looking at the car-boot sale. A sign for a giant slide caught my attention and soon I was dragging my luggage-toting Sherpas to join me in an extremely genteel-looking glide (or ten) down the slope to land in a heap at the bottom.

In search of adventure, your average intrepid explorer wears sturdy boots and clothes fit for the dusty road. Ever one to break with tradition, I decided to explore in STYLE: and what better way to do so than in a ball gown and stilettos, whilst bedecked in the finest diamonds one can buy in SL?

The first destination for the impractical Ms. Indiana Jones and her team of non-Tibetan Sherpas was the Northland sim. (Yes, one needs a loyal team of Sherpas to carry one’s Louis Vuitton luggage and Evian bottles). As my mother always used to say… never drink the local water and always take a change of clothes… I’m sure she meant all my clothes and other accoutrements in case of fashion emergencies!
